Today, the 10th of November 2008 we’ve reached a MILESTONE:

There’s not a lot that needs explanation, the picture above shows the 200 Blog Milestone!  Thanks for choosing Blog.com.mt for blogging online.  The blog.com.mt team would like to thank the 200 Bloggers and 232 users that use our service.

I wonder how many of you have seen our adverts… Basically we are currently advertising on Facebook and at the University of Malta.  We are very pleased with the results we are having! Every week is better then the previous one with new blog registrations and new posts being posted daily!

The number of visits in Blog.com.mt are increasing day-by-day! In only three weeks time, Blog.com.mt already hosts over 100 blogs! This makes our team enthusiastic to work more and more. Although we are constantly doing maintenance work which for the end-user might not be noticeable, we are planning to launch our first major-update for Blog.com.mt soon. This update includes:

• New Templates - Whoever creates a blog with Blog.com.mt can already choose from a vast selection of templates. This is done with a simple click through our blogging software! We will add even more themes for you to choose from!
• Blog Categorisation - Since we are having lots of new users creating new blogs on a daily basis, we are thinking of categorising the blogs so that blog readers can easily search through all the blogs.
• Blog Listing - Blog.com.mt home page features the latest 10 posts.  Since the blogs are always increasing, we are going to make a page that lists all the blogs so that if someone does not blog so often, readers can still find his/her blog in the blog listing page.
• Recent Comments - We are going to add a section with the latest comments from all the blogs. Cool!

That will be our Service Pack 1 for Blog.com.mt! We would also appreciate your feedback and even ideas for new features… You may contact us here.

We are proud to announce that the launch of blog.com.mt has been successful! We had 401 visitors, 1610 hits, and 15 new blogs were created!

This project is continuously being updated and new features will be added in the very near future! We sincerely hope you enjoy it and that you actively participate in our blogging network.
